Karl Kipry,
CEO Karl Kipry is a
founder of data2c and inventor of the GDS approach. He brings a strong
background in successful leadership and the management of technology
licensing companies to the firm. After he departed from interNetwork in 2003, Kipry and his dedicated team of technology professionals defined and developed the GDS and Viewer technologies. Kipry has served in an executive management capacity since interNetwork’s inception in 1999. While CEO at interNetwork, he developed a successful strategy to introduce interNetwork’s products to the European telecommunications industry. Through his leadership, interNetwork secured a strategic investor in 2001. He then raised enough venture capital in 2002 to expand interNetwork’s business, and incorporate with headquarters in San Francisco, CA. Prior to interNetwork, Kipry co-founded Patzschke + Rasp GmbH (PRS), an IT firm which represents the newest technologies in Germany and throughout the German-speaking world. Kipry became the Managing Director and COO for PRS in 1987, a position he held until 1999. During those twelve years, he assembled a strong sales team, established a network of distributors, and forged partnerships located throughout Europe. The success of this venture allowed Kipry to begin the distribution of Patzschke + Rasp’s products in Europe and later in the US. Kipry’s career began in 1986, after he completed his studies in economics in Mainz and Heidelberg. Today, Kipry continues to fulfill his duties as a member of the Supervisory Board of PRS AG. |
